About the Founder
Brian Simpson
Brian Simpson has spent a lifetime in rinks, from early mornings in minor hockey to competing in the CCHL, the OHL, and with the University of Toronto Varsity Blues. Along the way, he earned awards for academic excellence, leadership, and community service, reflecting the same work ethic and values that shaped his playing career.
Off the ice, Brian built a 20+ year career in executive leadership, governance, and organizational transformation. IcePulse brings those two worlds together: the discipline and insight of a seasoned public‑sector leader, and the lived experience of someone who knows the game from the inside. His goal is simple — to help minor hockey associations deliver the best possible experience for players, families, and communities.
